Brand name: Embrave As a user that tends to rely on influencer recommendations a lot and constantly learn new information through social media platforms, I wanted to create an e-commerce store focusing on influencer brands. Using the words embracing and brave, the brand is named "Embrave" as an invitation to everyone to celebrate influencer's courage to build their labels. As well as to welcome people to try out their lovely and effective products. After understanding the influencer market, current beauty industry status, and the possible target groups, I've selected 7 brands to collaborate with to start this imaginary business. Though not as highly recognized, these labels have great reputations and positive customer reviews on the internet. And to create an impactful debut, I would like to invite the founders/influencers of these brands to share their secretly loved products from their labels that haven't been promoted much. These 8 hidden gems would then be packaged into limited-edition boxes ready for sale and anyone interested to pre-order.
The process of conducting research, building essential components to form a start-up business, and forecasting financial performance allows me to evaluate the possibility of building an online retailer as such. Most importantly, the project helps me understand how critical every part of a business is and how difficult it is to be an entrepreneur.
